Sample Wedding Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
You are met at the airport and assisted through immigration
formalities and customs. Spend your first night in your
hotel overlooking the Nile or the Pyramids.
Day 2: Visit British Embassy o Egyptian
Museum
After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel you are taken
to the British Embassy in downtown Cairo to sign the
marriage affidavit.
While you are downtown, visit the Egyptian Museum and
marvel at the treasures of Egyptian history which dates
back some 5000 years, including the famous Tutankhamen
mask. Afterwards enjoy a typical Egyptian lunch at the
Felfela Restaurant.
After dinner get ready for a fun night at the Little
Buddha Bar (Hard Rock) or take pleasure enjoy a concert
at the Opera House.
Day 3: Sail the Nile in a Felucca
enjoy your morning at leisure and then quickly visit
the Embassy to pick up your notarized documents. With
the first step done, celebrate with a private lunch
on board of a felucca while sailing the Nile.
Day 4: Register Documents o Visit
Old Cairo o Pyramids Sound & Light Show
After breakfast register your documents with the Egyptian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Then stroll through the
alleys of Old Cairo and take a look at ancient churches
and beautiful mosques before a delicious lunch.
In the late afternoon enjoy a special treat and pamper
yourself at a beauty centre or at one of the fantastic
spas at the Moroccan Bath. In the evening after dinner
enjoy the impressive Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids.
Day 5: Wedding Ceremony
Today is your day. You choose whether you have a civil
or a church celebration. We have several wedding day
options to choose from the following is just an example
of how you can celebrate your special day.
The bride and groom are transferred in a decorated Mercedes
to the wedding ceremony. After completion of the ceremony
you are transferred to the Pyramids of Giza to enjoy
a trip in a decorated chariot around the Pyramids and
the Sphinx. Wedding photographs will be taken among
the mysterious pyramids before you are transferred back
to your hotel. A romantic candlelit dinner is served
followed by a wedding cake for the couple and their
friends. On return to your room you will find a romantic
floral decoration and a bottle of wine to celebrate
your special day.
Day 6 - 13: Honeymoon
Fly to Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh or Luxor for a fantastic
honeymoon. Spend your time relaxing by the Red Sea,
exploring the Temples of Karnak in Luxor or on a luxury
cruise down the River Nile.
Day 13: Fly back to Cairo
The newly-weds are welcomed back to Cairo.
Day 14: Collect Marriage Certificate
o Pyramids of Giza
Pick up your marriage certificates from the Notary Public's
Office at the Ministry of Justice Annex. Then will start
your journey to the Great Pyramids and Sphinx in Giza.
The three pyramids Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure were built
some 4500 years ago. The Sphinx the mysterious statue,
half lion, half man and the pyramids have kept many
secrets to themselves.
Day 15: Return home
Return home to start your new life together with fascinating
and memories of an unforgettable life event.
