Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1

Destinations: Arrive in Shanghai

Today's Activities:
Our local professional guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to hotel check in.
The rest of day is free on your own or you can ask the guide for some suggestions.

Meals: No meal


DAY 2

Destinations: Shanghai

Today's Activities: After breakfast, you will visit the Bund, Shanghai's famous riverfront.
Next it's process to the Temple of City Patron to known the Chinese Buddhist culture.
After lunch, the guide will take you to Yuyuan Garden on Anren Jie, whose means pleasing and satisfying.
Last you will go to the Nanjing Road , which was honored as "China's No. l Street".
Afterwards, come back to hotel.

Meals: Western Breakfast + Chinese Lunch


DAY 3

Destinations: Shanghai-Dunhuang

Today's Activities:
After breakfast, you are free to explore the city and then transfer to airport for the flight to Dunhuang.
Upon arrival, the local guide will pick up you and escort you to hotel check in.

Meals: Western Breakfast


DAY 4

Destinations: Dunhuang

Today's Activities: Today you will visit the famous monument- the Mogao Grottos, also known as "the Thousand Buddha Cave", are noted as one of the most important cultural and historical sites in China and a remarkable record of Silk Road civilization, especially for the Buddhist art treasures. Then it's process to the beautiful Crescent Moon Lake , which gets its name from its crescent-like shape.
After lunch, the guide will take you to Dunes of the Singing Sands to feel the west sadness life.
Afterwards, come back to hotel.

DAY 5

Destinations: Dunhuang-Xian

Today's Activities: In the morning, you will be transfer to airport for the flight to Xi'an. Upon arrival, the local guide will greet you at airport and escort you to hotel.
Later you will visit the Ancient City Wall , which is located just outside the railway station, divides the inner city from the outer city.
After lunch, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
In the evening, you will enjoy a Stage Show of Tang Dynasty dancing and feast on the Chinese Dumpling. Afterwards, come back to hotel.

Meals: Western Breakfast + Chinese Lunch + Chinese Dumpling for Dinner


DAY 6

Destinations: Xi'an

Today's Activities: After breakfast, you will have a half-day deep tour to Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, a hangar-like building constructed over Pit 1, place of the original discovery in 1974, was opened to the public in 1979. The museum is not only a treasure house, but also a main scenic spot of Xi'an city.
In the afternoon, the guide will take you to visit the Tomb of Qin Emperor.
Afterwards, come back to hotel.

DAY 7

Destinations: Xi'an-Beijing

Today's Activities:
In the morning, you will transfer to airport for the flight to Beijing.
Upon arrival, the local guide in Beijing will greet you and escort you to hotel.

DAY 8

Destinations: Beijing

Today's Activities: In the morning, the guide will pick up you at hotel and take you to visit the Summer Palace, the greatest imperial garden in China and much-loved summer retreat of the Imperial families.
After lunch, you will visit the Tian'anmen Square , the largest square in downtown city in the world. Then walk to the Forbidden City , which used to be the living place of the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is truly a must-see!
In the evening, you will feast on the delicious Beijing Roast Duck.

Meals: Western Breakfast + Chinese Lunch + Beijing Roast Duck for Dinner


DAY 9

Destinations: Beijing

Today's Activities: In the morning, you will be driven to the Great Wall at Mutianyu, which is located 50 miles away from the city, the greatest man-made structure in the world. You will have 1-2 hours to spend on hiking on the Great Wall.
After lunch, you will take a ride to the nearby Ming Tombs, which are the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. The mausoleums have been perfectly preserved the graves of each of the emperors.
In the evening, you will have the chance to see an acrobatic show.

DAY 10

Destinations: Depart Beijing

Today's Activities:
In the morning, you will transfer to Beijing International Airport for your flight of next destination.
The 10-days memorable on silk road tour ends.
