Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1

Destinations: Arrive in Beijing

Today's Activities:

Our local professional guide will greet you at airport and escort you to hotel check in.
After a short break, you will visit the Summer Palace, the greatest imperial garden in China and much-loved summer retreat of the Imperial families, the lovely landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions and corridors are set around the lake and rivers.
Afterwards, come back to hotel.

Meals: Chinese Lunch


DAY 2

Destinations: Beijing

Today's Activities:

In the morning, the guide will take you to the Tian'anmen square, the largest square in the world.
Then walk to the Forbidden City which used to be the living place of the emperors of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.
After lunch, you will visit the Temple of Heaven, one of Beijing's most impressive parks in terms of architecture and significance.
Afterwards, come back to hotel and today's activity ends.

Meals: Western Breakfast + Chinese Lunch + Beijing Roast Duck for Dinner


DAY 3

Destinations: Beijing

Today's Activities: In the morning, you will visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu, which is located 50 miles away from the city. You will have 1-2 hours to spend on hiking on the Great Wall.
After lunch, you will have a visit to the Ding Tomb (Underground Palace), which is one of Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) were buried.
Afterwards, come back to hotel.

DAY 4

Destinations: Beijing-Zhengzhou

Today's Activities: In the morning, the guide will take you to have a half day tour at Yonghegong Lama Temple , one of Beijing's more curious temples, having started life as a residence for a crown prince of the emperor.
After lunch, you will transfer to railway station for the train to Zhengzhou.
Meanwhile, the local guide will pick up you at Zhengzhou station and escort you to hotel.

DAY 5

Destinations: Zhengzhou-Luoyang-Zhengzhou

Today's Activities: After breakfast, you will be driven to the Shaolin Temple and start today's tour. The temple has more than 1,500 years of history, with a total area of roughly 30,000 square meters. Shaolin Temple is the ancestral temple of the Zen Sect of Chinese Buddhism and the origin of the world-famous Shaolin Kungfu. Certainly you will enjoy a wonderful Kungfu Show in the temple.
After lunch, you will visit the Longmen Caves in Luoyang, one of UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Afterwards, come back to hotel.

DAY 6

Destinations: Xi'an

Today's Activities:

In the morning, transfer to the railway station for the train to Xi'an.
Upon arrival, guide will pick up you and take you to visit the Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. The museum is not only a treasure house, but also a main scenic spot of Xi'an city.
Next it's process to enjoy the Tang Dynasty Show.
Afterwards, come back to hotel.

DAY 7

Destinations: Xi'an-Suzhou

Today's Activities: In the morning, the guide will take you to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda , which named form a legend.
Then you will visit Muslim Great Mosque, one of largest and best preserved Islamic mosques in China.
The last spot is Shanxi History Museum. This newly built modern building is modeled after Tang dynasty architecture and is home to many great historical art pieces.
After that, you will transfer to railway station for the overnight train to Suzhou.

DAY 8

Destinations: Suzhou

Today's Activities: Upon your arrival, the local guide will pick up you at station and accompany you to the Garden of the Master of Nets at first, which is also called Fisherman's Garden.
Next, process to Lion Grove Garden, a typical river south garden in the northeast part of Suzhou.
After lunch, you can take a cruise on the on the Grand Canal, which is a great water conservation project in ancient China, running from Beijing to Hangzhou. At last, you will visit the Silk Factory.
Afterwards, come back to hotel.

DAY 9

Destinations: Suzhou-Shanghai

Today's Activities: In the morning, driven to Shanghai and you can have a short stay in Tongli Water Town on the way.
Upon your arrival, the guide will take you to visit the ''Paris of East'' the Bund , which is a combination of Liverpool and 1920s Manhattan, the most impressive street in Shanghai.
Then process to Nanjing Road , which is honored as "China's No. l Street".
Afterwards, come back to hotel.

Meals: Western Breakfast + Chinese Lunch


DAY 10

Destinations: Depart Shanghai

Today's Activities:
After breakfast, you will visit Yuyuan Garden, with a name that means pleasing and satisfying.
Next it's process to Jade Buddha Temple, a very famous Shanghai attraction and Temple of City Patron.
In the evening, you will be transferred to the airport and for the departure flight.
The colorful tour in China ends.
