Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1

Destinations: Arrive in Beijing

Today's Activities:

Upon your arrival, your tour guide will pick you up from the airport and help you check in the hotel.

DAY 2

Destinations: Beijing

Today's Activities: In the morning, you will have a visit to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City which is the largest and best preserved imperial palace complex in the world. It consists of Twenty-four emperors including fourteen from the Ming Dynasty and ten from the Qing Dynasty lived here, and then you will be taken to the Summer Palace.

DAY 3

Destinations: Beijing

Today's Activities:

In the morning, your guide will meet you in the hotel; you are going to climb the Badaling Great Wall, a must-see attraction for all who visit China. And then visit the Ding mausoleum, is one of the thirteen imperial tombs of the Ming Dynasty. The tomb was excavated in 1958 and has since been open to the public as an underground museum.

DAY 5

Destinations: Xi'an

Today's Activities: Today your local guide will accompany you to visit the famous Terra-Cotta Warriors, also known as the eighth wonder of the world, it has demonstrate the artistic talent and wonderful workmanship of Chinese people living over 2,000 years ago. after lunch, you will be shown to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and City Wall.

DAY 6

Destinations: Xi'an-Lhasa

Today's Activities: After breakfast you will take the flight transfer to Lhasa. After you arrive in Lhasa the local guide will pick you up at the airport and help you check in the hotel.

DAY 7

Destinations: Lhasa

Today's Activities: In the morning, you will first visit the Potala Palace, the monastery-like palace, reclining against and capping Red Hill, was the religious and political center of old Tibet and the winter palace of Dalai Lamas. the most famous palace in Tibet. Then visit the Jokhang Temple and the bazaar at Barkhor Market Street.

DAY 8

Destinations: Lhasa

Today's Activities:

Today, you will visit the Norbulingka Palace, the largest man-made garden in Tibet. It previously was used as the Summer Palace by the Lamas for political affairs and meetings with officials and the clergy. After that you will see the Tibet Museum, and the Sera Temple.

DAY 9

Destinations: Lhasa

Today's Activities:

Today, you will fly from Lhasa to Chongqing.
The local guide will pick you up to visit Chongqing Ciqikou Ancient Town. This old town is located right by the Jialing River in northwestern of Chongqing, this old town is well known for its pebbled street, old teahouse and Diaojiaolou.
At night, you will board on the cruise.

DAY 10

Destinations: On the Cruise

Today's Activities:

Today you will visit the Ghost City of Fengdu, called Bazibiedu in ancient times. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks.Wreathed with luxuriant trees and interspersed by a few temples and pavilions, the whole scenic area is more like a landscape painting rather than the "Ghost City".

DAY 11

Destinations: On the Cruise

Today's Activities:

The essential part of Yangtze River cruise is coming today, and you will appreciate the unique scenery of the Three Gorges.
Qutang Gorge, the shortest but the grandest one.
Wu Gorge is famous for its lofty peaks and mountains on the both sides.
Xiling Gorge is the longest one among the three.
An interesting junk adventure to Shennong Stream will add much joy to the marvelous day.

DAY 12

Destinations: Yichang-Shanghai

Today's Activities: Today you will see the unique scenery of the Three Gorges Dam in the morning. After lunch you will fly from Yichang to Shanghai, and the local guide will pick you up in the airport and escort you to the hotel.

DAY 13

Destinations: Shanghai

Today's Activities: The local guide will accompany you to enjoy the tour to the Bund, Yu Garden, There are six main scenic areas in the garden:Sansui Hall, Wanhua Chamber, Dianchun Hall, Huijing Hall, Yuhua Hall and the Inner Garden. Each area features several scenic spots .And then you will be see the Jade Buddha Temple, which was located in weste Shanghai, is a very famous Shanghai attraction. Originally, in 1882, a temple was built to hold two jade Buddha statues brought from Burma by monk Huigen.

DAY 14

Destinations: Depart Shanghai

Today's Activities: After breakfast in the hotel, you will be taken to the airport to take the flight back home.
